Hello! I am a recent new owner of a 1975 z1. It was my dad's that he has owned since he was 18 (1978) and he recently gave it to me as he no longer rides. He has kept it in good shape and updated/modified some things on it through the years so hopefully I don't hit too many snags getting it in tip top shape again haha. Right now I need to work through some electrical issues, but i will post about that in the appropriate place in this forum : ).

Thanks! I appreciate it : ). I started another thread in the appropriate section (i hope haha) for the electronic issue. I am hoping by next season to have her running well again! My dad hasn't driven it in years, but he used to put a couple thousand miles on it every year when I was growing up.

I am based in Pennsylvania, USA about halfway between Pittsburgh and Lake Erie : ).

Hi jcc273,
Welcome to The aZylum! Glad to have you. Great to hear a family bike is being resurrected.

When you have a chance, please stop by the registry and enter the data for your bike.

Pics?

Good Ridin'

Great! Thanks Rob, I will definitely get my info in soon as well as some photos. I didn't have much time this weekend. We sold our house recently and closing is this month so we are in process of moving and we are also getting married on September 2nd, so might be a little bit until i have time to play with the bike some more : (.
