Hi there, thanks for the Add....I had a Z1B and Z900 during my time in the UK a few years ago. Always wanted a 72/73 Z1, and will hopefully have one soon and wanted to use this forum to connect with like minded Z1 owners.

Welcome to our little interwebs corner of motorcycle madness!

You mention "like minded Z1 owners". Truth is, we're all afflicted with The Dreaded Z-Bug. There's no known cure. We generally self-medicate by frequent applications of additional Z-bikes to our stables.

Good Ridin'

Many thanks for the welcome guys. I’ve had 25+ bikes in my life, manly centred around 3 distinct types.

2-Strokes, RD, RDLC,
BMW Airheads, R65LS, R80, R100S
4 cyl 4 strokes, GS1000, Z1B, Z900

Right now I’m on a mini quest to create a 3 bike collection (to start with!!) that reconnects me with my younger self.

I’ve almost finished a nut-and-bolt restoration of a Yamaha RD350LC from 1982. I have one of only 200 BMW R100 Trad bikes every produced and the only I know of in Australia from 1990

And....I’m now looking for that elusive, original unmolested Z1 from 72/73.
